Founded by Armand Billard in 2015, Sartory Billard is an independent watchmaking atelier driven by a singular philosophy: each watch should be as individual as its wearer. Based in France, the brand has built its reputation through fully bespoke timepieces created in direct collaboration with collectors by uniting traditional craftsmanship with a distinctly contemporary design language.
The History of Sartory Billard
Among Sartory Billard’s highly personalised creations, the Maki-e dial watches stand out as icons of artistic horology. Crafted in Japan with traditional lacquer and mother-of-pearl techniques, each takes months to complete. These timepieces push personalisation into storytelling, turning reflections of the collector into truly wearable art.
The Sartory Billard Movement
The SB06 marks a turning point for Sartory Billard, debuting the in-house SBTV01 flying tourbillon. A sapphire bridge reveals the finely finished movement in full light. Two versions are offered: the SB06-12 with a classic two-hand layout, and the SB06-24 with a poetic 24-hour sun/moon display. Each piece is made in close dialogue with the client, ensuring true uniqueness.
